Duration: 12 Nights / 13 Days

Destinations Covered: Delhi - Leh Hemis - Thiksey - Shey - Alchi - Lamayuru - Ridzong and Likir Monasteries - Saboo - Stok - Delhi

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

After your arrival in Delhi you will come in contact with our execuetive , who will transfer you to your temporary residence that is , your prebooked hotel. Relax in your room. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Fly Delhi - Leh (3445mtrs)

After morning breakfast you will be transferred to the Delhi airport to catch a flight to Leh. On arrival at Leh you will meet our representative who will take you to your hotel. Have rest and try to adjust in the rarified air of Ladakh. In the evening have your dinner in the hotel restaurant and then have a nice sleep.

Day 3: Leh - Half day tour

After light breakfast we would go on our tour of Leh to see the beautiful ancient Buddhists monuments. We would then see the famous Buddhist Shanti Stupa. This Stupa was built by a Japanese Buddhists. This Shanti Stupa is a structure signifying Peace having gilt panels on its sides that displays the relics from the life of Buddha. This Stupa was inaugurated in 1983 by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We would then go to the Sanker Monastery . We would enjoy seeing the scenic beauty of Sankae Monastery surrounded by forests and barley fields that rise in terraces along the hillside. We would also see the golden statues of Buddha and Thanka paintings withen the Monastery. Return to your hotel to stay overnight..

Day 4: Leh -Hemis - Thiksey - Shey

After morning breakfast we would go on a tour of the Hemis Gompa. It is one of the best Monastery in Ladakh.Thus the famous Hemis festival is celebrated in this Hemis gompa.You can see Chortens around the monastery. We would then go to the Thiksey Monastery and view the beautiful Buddhist artifacts withen the monastery.We would also visit the Shey Palace which is considered as the summer palace of the royal family of Ladakh. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.

Day 5: Leh - Alchi

After morning breakfast we would go to Alchi, a small village in Leh. We would stay in the Uletokpo camp where we can rest and have our lunch. After our lunch we would visit the Alchi Monastery famous for its beautiful wall paintings of 11th century. These wall paintings depict artistic details of early Buddhist art. You would enjoy seeing some rural activities like grinding wheat in these small Alchi villages. Stay overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Alchi - Lamayuru - Alchi

After morning breakfast we would leave for Lamayuru . Lamayuru is famous for its Lamayuru Monastery also called the yung -drung (Swastika) monastery. Lamayuru is one of the largest among all the monasteries in Central Ladakh. Withen the monastery we would see various shrines and wall paintings. In the afternoon enjoy the delicious lunch in Lamayuru. Return to the camp in the evening to stay overnight.

Day 7: Ridzong and Likir Monasteries

After morning breakfast we would proceed to Ridzong monastery .We will have to complete the last kilometer of this journey on our foot due to steep hill. Ridzong is the place where Buddhists nuns live. After exploring the monastery we would return to our camp to have our breakfast. After breakfast we would leave for Leh. On the way we would explore the Likir Monastery which was built in 15th century by the monks of the Gelupa (Yellow Hat) Sect. We would also drive along the Indus River. Resort back to your hotel and have your dinner in your room. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 8: Leh - Saboo - Leh

After an early snack we would go to the saboo village where we can see the old and traditional lifestyle of the people of Ladakh. It would be very interesting to meet and gain knowledge about the custom and culture old the people of Ladakh. Here you can taste the famous Gur Gur or Yak Butter Tea. After enjoying the Butter tea return to Leh. Stay overnight at the hotel

Day 9: Leh - Stok - Tibetan Handicraft

After morning breakfast we would go to the Stok Palace. In this palace it is said that royal family of Ladakh used to live.You would enjoy seeing family heirlooms and fine artifacts of royal time in this palace. We would then enjoy touring Ladakh Handicraft Center where you can purchase handmade products and craft items. We will then go to the Tibetans residing place in Ladakh commonly known as Choglamsar.Resort back to your hotel to have a nice snap and get ready for another exciting day.

Day 10: Leh

This is your last day in Leh . You can enjoy this day by doing some shopping, enjoying scenic beauty and having leisure time. You can spend this day in Leh of your choise.

Day 11: Leh - Delhi

After morning breakfast we would pack our luggage to go to the airport to board a flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi airport you would come in contact with our execuetive who would help you to transfer you to your prebooked deluxe hotel.Check in your hotel and have rest. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Delhi

This is your first day in India's capital which is goiung to be most memorable day of your journey. After light breakfast of bread and butter we would go on an enjoyable tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi we would see Jama Masjid, the Red Fort and we would visit the busy and colorful markets of Chandni Chowk and enjoy rickshaw ride viewing bustling markets . We would also visit Mahatma Gandhi's memorial - Raj Ghat. In New Delhi we would see India Gate, Parliament House and the President's mansion. Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Bahai Temple are also awesome places.You can also visit the famous and recently made Akshardham Temple which is like Heaven on Earth. Return to your hotel to stay overnight..

Day 13: Departure

Next day after breakfast we would get ready to go to the the airport to catch a flight to Delhi.Our guide will help you to transfer you to the international airport for your flight to your onward destination filled with most rememberable memories of the whole tour.
